The Gikirima factory is located on the slopes of Mt. Kenya which is an area known for growing coffee very well. The region is rare because it experiences two rainy seasons which allows it to have two harvests (the second harvest is called a fly crop). Gikirima is comprised of smallholder farmers that focus on improving quality though harvest and post-harvest production - they are committed to making the region one of the best in Kenya.
